Sainte-Lucie
Saint Lucia is an island nation in Central America, set in the Caribbean Sea as part of the Windward Islands. It is a constitutional monarchy and a member of the British Commonwealth. The island is volcanic in origin, with Mount Gimie as its highest peak at 950 m above sea level. The equatorial climate goes hand in hand with hot springs and coral reefs, although cyclones occur in summer and autumn. It is best visited in the dry season, from December to May, when temperatures are pleasantly warm and rainfall minimal.
