Cameroun
Cameroon, in central Africa on the Gulf of Guinea, borders six countries, among them Nigeria and Chad. Its history blends colonial influences with local traditions, beginning with the arrival of the Portuguese in the 16th century. It has been an independent state since 1960. Cameroon is home to more than 25 million people, and the official languages are French and English. The climate is tropical, and the best time to visit is between November and February, when temperatures are milder.
